This large sculpture is the culmination of my foundational design courses: geometric shapes, mixing complementary colors to form neutral colors, and the knowledge to engineer and build forms. Dawn the Snake has a wooden frame, a head and tail of pulp packaging, and colored segments that mix red-orange with green-blue. Her underbelly is corrugated cardboard, and her posable head is attached with fishing line.
