Most book covers for Homer’s The Odyssey feature Odysseus’s ship, a storm, or a particular scene in the story. I decided to map Odysseus’s journey instead. After researching locations Odysseus may have visited, I stained a map of the Mediterranean in coffee and wet coffee grounds, then digitally added a dotted line, as well as the title and description.
